Don’t you just love nothing more than a chilled out Sunday where you can laze around in comfy clothes and eat yummy food. That’s exactly how I spent mine this weekend gone…
It was such a beautiful day that after an early workout with friends at my favourite haunt Barry’s Bootcamp, my boyfriend and I decided to have a little wander into Hampstead for breakfast and an infamous crêpe. I love the cute village vibe there, you’re less than ten minutes from Central London but it feels like you could be miles out in the countryside, with only the red buses and taxi’s reminding you otherwise.
We had brekkie at Aubaine which we washed down with a delicious Maple Cream Dream crêpe which consists of banana, maple syrup, peanuts and cream. With every bite being tastier than the last, it really is heavenly. La Crêperie de Hampstead is a real Hampstead institution. It’s situated outside of the King William pub on Hampstead High Street. Expect to queue, but believe me the wait is totally worth it…it’s the only real authentic Parisian crêperie van I’ve found in London.
Feeling suitably stuffed we had a little wander around the shops, the boy bought me flowers – brownie points for him! And headed home to an afternoon of cooking, lazing on the sofa and X Factor. Equalling a Sunday very well spent!
